9 New Visa Rules That Will Make Your International Trip Easier

Indian travellers are going places, and now some countries are making it easier for them

 

If it is your dream to colour your Indian passport with all the international visa stamps, then now is the best time to do it. From a tourist destination, India is turning into a market for other countries. The aspirational Indians are travelling all over the world. And some countries have made it easier for Indians to visit them.

Here are some new visa rules that make it super easy to travel to a few foreign lands

1. Closer home, you can drive into Myanmar and only need to display your e-visa at the border check post. And you can procure an e-visa within two days for this country.

2. The Europe visitors will have it easier. Travellers transitioning through any French airport’s international zone, do not need an airport transit visa any longer.

3. Want to explore mystical Western Asia? To visit Uzbekistan, all you have to do is submit an e-visa application three days before the trip. For a 30-day period, you can also get a single-entry visa.

4. Students will have it really easy to visit UAE. UAE will grant you a 10-year long-term visa for specialists in medicine, science and research, exceptional students and investors.

The new visa rules have made it easier for Indian travellers to explore the world.

5. UAE has one more rule to encourage travellers. Between July 15th and September 15th each year, dependents under the age of 18 can get free visas.

6. In a small win for women, Saudi Arabia will issue tourist visas to women aged 25 and above, even if they visit the country without being accompanied by a man. This is thanks to Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, who wants a ‘moderate, open Islam’ system in his country.

7. Want to explore the wild African continent, or go on a jungle safari? You can get a visa on arrival in Zimbabwe.

8. It is also easier to visit Japan. If you are applying for a multiple-entry visa for a short-term stay, you no longer need an employment certificate and explanation letter stating the reason for your visit. The only documents you need are visa application form and papers to prove your financial capability.

9. Some rules are beneficial to NRIs too. If you reside or hold an entry visa to the USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Japan or Schengen states, and if you plan on visiting Oman, you can get a 30-day tourist visa on arrival, by paying 20 Omani Riyal or Rs 3,700.
