Akshay Kumar wears the turban in his upcoming film Kesari with pride and at his recent interview he had proudly shown us a picture of his Kesari look and said, “I have been shooting for ‘Kesari’ since the last one and a half months, and every time that I wear the taaj (turban) on my head, I am filled with pride.” This is not the first time Akshay has donned the turban, he did so for Singh Is Kinng and Singh Is Bliing too.

Anupam Kher is another actor who has recently been posting pictures on his social media wearing a turban. Kher is playing the role of ex-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a film titled The Accidental Prime Minister is here. The actor has started shooting for the film in London. He plays former PM Manmohan Singh in the film which is scheduled to release on 21 December.

Abhishek Bachchan has been making quite a buzz for sporting a turban for the first time in his upcoming film Manmarziyaan being directed by Aanand L Rai. Both Abhishek and his proud dad the Big B shared a collage of with the 3 generations of Bachchans in turbans. The turban seems to suit the Junior Bachchan.

Besides the three, actors Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgn: and Saif Ali Khan have also tied a turban for their roles in films like Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, ‘The Legend of Bhagat Singh and Love Aaj Kal respectively. But among the ladies, it was Rani Mukherjee who stole the show as a young Sardar in Dil Bole Hadippa.
