We all know by now that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen next as Sanjay Dutt in the Dutt Biopic but did you know that the latest buzz doing the rounds is that Sanjay Dutt will soon play the role of Ranbir’s father in director Karan Malhotra’s next.
Karan has approached Sanjay for the film that he is directing for Yash Raj Films. It is also being said that actress Vani Kapoor who was launched by YRF will also be a part of the same film and has already been finalized. Vaani has previously done Shuddh Desi Romance and Befikre under the YRF banner and this will be her third film under the three-film deal that she signed with YRF.
Director Karan too has signed a three-film deal with YRF and his first project will have Ranbir in the lead role. He’s earlier directed films like Agneepath and Brothers starring Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra. This will be the first time he will be working with Ranbir, Sanjay, and Vaani. It is also the first time the three stars will be working together. Ranbir will also be seen in the romantic fantasy film Brahmastra along with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The film is said to a trilogy with being the first to release in 2019. Ranbir has been working hard on the film taking lessons in horse riding and sword fighting to get into his character. The other two parts of Brahmastra will be made over a period of eight years.Vaani too has signed Siddharth Anand’s next with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
We’ve earlier seen Sanjay play a father to Hrithik Roshan in Mission Kashmir, but Sanjay and Ranbir have a closer resemblance and it will be great to watch the two on screen together
