This Is Why Kangana Was The Best Choice For Manikarnika; The Queen Of Jhansi

There is absolutely no doubt that Kangana Ranaut was the best choice to play the fearless, courageous Rani of Jhansi in Manikarnika is there? Afterall, she’s the queen of fearlessness, ‘outspokeness’ (if there is such a word!), intelligent, self-made and she can single-handedly fight her battles both inner and outer and still manage to hold her head up high!

At the recently held New 18’s Rising India Summit, Kangana reminded us again about how brave she is by tackling all the questions thrown to her with ease and charm. On being questioned about how she handles fear, Kangana rightly said, “Fear is something that comes out of our own actions.”

The obvious questions now whenever one meets Kangana is about her statement on nepotism on Karan Johar’s show, her open war with Hrithik Roshan and her relationships. Kangana being Kangana did not mince her words while answering any of them, no matter how many times she might have answered the same questions before.

About her nepotism statement, she said, “For me, the whole nepotism thing was just an observation from my daily life. I am not some activist even though I would love to be one. I didn’t think nepotism would become a national debate. It became a national debate because it was in everybody’s conscience. It was a catalyst that I said it on that popular show because Karan Johar is so popular so that’s why it became a national debate. The whole point is we need to learn to co-exist, there is a Karan Johar and there is a Kangana Ranaut, we need to find out the balance in society!”

Kangana feels if we guard irrelevant things they become the aura of our life so just speak out!

Speaking about her war with Hrithik and her relationships she said, “Why should something so unimportant become a big mystery in my life. It’s of no relevance if you guard irrelevant things they can become your aura in life so why should I guide it so I thought I should share it! I have had so many affairs that after every breakup, I feel like this is the end of my love life. Things change in just 2 -3 months and I was ready for love again! For me, love is not just physical, it’s spiritual. It’s an amazing experience you feel when every cell of your body is awakened, without the presence of that person. The minute you feel that way the person thinks that you’re probably a psycho, the person gets scared and leaves! For me love is something that has to be extraordinary, has to be a spiritual experience and if that makes me a witch I am ready to be a witch (Referring to Hrithik calling her a psycho and saying she practiced black magic!). Every time I’ve been dumped, I’ve never got the opportunity to dump someone. But then they come back but then I can’t take them back because then I‘ve moved on to another loser. I want to be someone who just dumps someone!”

Kangana feels just like our PM, this is the right time for for the underdogs to rise

About being outspoken as a person Kangana said, “When you speak out you do get a lot of love, get hugs with people trying to say we believe you, people give me warmth but along with that comes stress too! Stress like media writing wrong things, notices, things that could land me in jail. Even though my parents are influential, their influence is limited to Manali only! (She laughs!). So yes speaking out has its own pros and cons. The funny part is people feel scared to discuss things and gossip in front of me because they don’t know when I might just speak out about it. But I am not scared of speaking out!”

Speaking of outsiders making their space in the industry or otherwise Kangana said, “It is a victory of our democracy. This is the right time for the underdogs to rise and shine!” Kangana has shown the world how to rise, fall and rise again! She’s a brave Queen just like the Jhansi Ki Rani!

Here’s wishing the Queen of everyone’s heart barring one or two (losers!) A Very Happy Birthday!! Keep rising higher girl!
