Aditi Rao Hydari is of a royal lineage by birth, and her talent is her versatility. Not only is she an actor, but also a very talented singer and a trained Bharatanatyam dancer too. However, she has proved them wrong as she stunned us with her impeccable performance in this Umang Kumar movie, where she plays the role of Sanjay Dutt’s daughter. What worked in her favour was that the filmmakers were looking for someone who hadn’t worked in many films, and Aditi was the right choice.

Though the movie is all about the grace and poise of Rani Padmaavati played by Deepika Padukone and the madness of Alauddin Khilji, played by our very own Ranveer Singh, the role played by Mehrunissa, portrayed by Aditi Rao Hydari, cannot go unnoticed.
