Aditi Rao Hydari is of a royal lineage by birth, and her talent is her versatility. Not only is she an actor, but also a very talented singer and a trained Bharatanatyam dancer too. She has worked equally diligently in Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu movies. She made her debut in the Malayalam film industry, with the movie Prajapathi, starring opposite Mammootty in the year 2006. In Bollywood, we saw her for the first time in the Abhishek Bachchan starrer Delhi 6 and she made quite an impact with her short role in the movie. Her claim to fame was from Sudhir Mishra’s Yeh Saali Zindagi in 2011. This beautiful actress has been seen in myriad supporting roles in B town, which includes the super hit movie, Rockstar (2011), the romantic comedy, Khoobsurat (2014), and the thriller, Wazir (2016) and many more.

As Aditi turned 32 today (28th October 2018), here are some of the best roles played by her:

The Tortured Rape Victim In Bhoomi

She has been the underestimated talent in Bollywood as the filmmakers never really thought of her as someone who could be strong enough for a pivotal role. However, she has proved them wrong as she stunned us with her impeccable performance in this Umang Kumar movie, where she plays the role of Sanjay Dutt’s daughter. What worked in her favour was that the filmmakers were looking for someone who hadn’t worked in many films, and Aditi was the right choice.

The Distressed Wife In Padmaavat

Though the movie is all about the grace and poise of Rani Padmaavati played by Deepika Padukone and the madness of Alauddin Khilji, played by our very own Ranveer Singh, the role played by Mehrunissa, portrayed by Aditi Rao Hydari, cannot go unnoticed. She has outdone herself with her childlike innocence and the vulnerability she poses as the Queen of her kingdom. Her unconditional love for her eccentric husband is indeed touching.

The Twisted Entertainer In Yeh Saali Zindagi

Aditi won the Screen Award for the Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie

This was the film which got her to the limelight, and she was highly praised for her performance. Though this 2011 film was moderately successful at the box office, the role of Aditi, who plays the wife of Arunoday Singh, had received many positive acclaims. She even played by her in this movie.

So, true talent never goes to waste in Bollywood, and with better projects, Aditi is sure to go a long way.
