What to order on a first date can be a huge dilemma, to maybe avoid smelling like onions and garlic for your first kiss. Here is a list of foods you should avoid on your first date:

Soup

Eating soup can sometimes be a disaster, especially when you are nervous on your first date, you might just end up spilling it all over your date! If you have a choice between soup and salad, always choose a salad.

Spicy Food

You wouldn’t like your date to see your eyes and nose running would you? The sight of one’s face after eating very spicy food is not a pretty one. A runny nose doesn’t make a great picture on a first date. Not only that, it might give you an upset stomach and make you want to run to the loo asap! Just stick to food with spice that you can handle.

Crab and Spare Ribs

You don’t want your date to hear you slurping and licking your fingers. Crab and Spare Ribs cannot be eaten with a spoon or fork, you need your hands and you might need to lick your fingers too. It might just repulse your date. Leave the Crab and Spare Ribs for once you get to know each other better and are too much in love to be bothered about how you eat!

Having said, once your relationship progressives, they might see you eat all of that anyways but on the very first date, you don’t know each other so it’s better to take it easy and know each other first before you show them your true colors!
