Our skin is the most vulnerable part of the body, therefore it needs extra care as it is the most exposed part of our body. But the irony is, we fail to give that much needed focus on our skin. Essential oils have come as a blessing to get rid of the various skin disorders and to maintain the natural look of our skin. We’ve listed some essential oils that are beneficial for our skin.

Lavender Essential Oil: Lavender is a herb that has medicinal properties and is best used for issues like anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, headache and pain. The flavour has also led the F&B industry to infuse the herb in cuisines. It is used as a fragrance in many perfumes, soaps, cosmetics and decorations as well. It has numerous medicinal benefits and possess properties that are extremely beneficial to develop the mind and body. It helps to remove the toxic substances from the body and prevents the body from infections. Herbal infusions with chamomile flavour is also available in the market that helps to release the stress after a long day. It helps to relieve depression and even smelling these oils can help people overcome insomnia and depression. As a result it helps people to keep a calm on their anger and enjoy complete relaxation. Consuming chamomile is also beneficial in improving digestion and increase the secretion of hydrochloric acid, bile and enzymes in the stomach. Ways To Use them For Facial Skin:

Some people have sensitive skin so the dabbing of the essential oil directly on the face would aggravate the skin issue. So a carrier oil like coconut oil can be used in order to mix few drops of the essential oil and then applied on the face.

Mixing With A Carrier Oil: Carrier oils are used in order to dilute the essential oil for people who have sensitive skin. Sometimes the oil tends to be strong which might not be effective for people with sensitive skin. Carrier oil acts as a diluting agent that pacifies the extremities of the essential oil and in addition to it, they also acts as a booster to provide the natural glow in the skin.

Keeping It Overnight: In cases of acne and pimples, the essential oil is required to be dabbed on the affected area and kept it overnight.
