And finally the trailer of the much-awaited film of 2018 – Pad Man is here. The makers revealed the trailer today morning and social media is abuzz with this ‘pagal’ superhero. The trailer shows a short glimpse into the life of a man, who is referred to as Padman. The women in his village are ashamed to talk about menstruation, but this man is worried about their menstrual hygiene and gifts sanitary napkins to his sisters on Rakhi to make sure that his wife is healthy in ‘those’ days.
The speech glimpses in the middle of the trailer is sure to get seetis and taalis in theatres. Radhika Apte plays Akshay’s wife, while Sonam Kapoor is the one who helps him in achieving the goal.
Padman is based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented the first low-cost sanitary napkins in India.
