The new handsome hunk of Bollywood, Kartik Aaryan is all set to set the screens on fire with his upcoming release, Luka Chuppi. He will be starting opposite the Bareilly Ki Barfi, that is, the very pretty and cheerful Kriti Sanon. Over the past few years, Kartik Aaryan’s fan following has been soaring owing to his dashing looks, and of course, no one has forgotten his impeccable monologue in the movie Pyar Ka Punchnama.
Luka Chuppi will be his first movie opposite Kriti Sanon, and the movie has been produced by Dinesh Vijan. The director of the film, Laxman Utekar, Kartik Aaryan as well as Kriti Sanon shared the first poster of the film yesterday on Instagram. The poster is a pretty one and it definitely gives us an insight into how pretty the film is going to be. The poster features Kartik and Kriti with their arms wrapped around each other with a signal of hushing us up. They play a married couple in the movie and the poster keeps us guessing what they are trying to hide. The caption of the poster piqued our curiosity even more as it said, “Pakde jayenge ya denge sabko chakma”
The trailer of the movie has been released just a few hours back. The trailer of “Luka Chhupi” explores the theme of live-in relationships, which is still somewhat of a social taboo in India. The trailer begins with Guddu (Kartika Aryan) proposing to Rashmi (Kriti Sanon), and how they decided to live-in together. Being a comedy, the couple faces a number of humorous challenges as their parents believe that they have simply eloped. Thus, it is a story about a couple acting as if they are married to each other – but are actually not. It focuses on a live-in relationship-turned-into-marriage with a dose of family and traditions in between. The trailer is really fun and interesting and we only hope the entire movie will be as entertaining as well.

The chemistry of the couple seems great and even though these two are starring opposite each other for the first time, there is no awkwardness apparently. The movie has been shot majorly in Gwalior, which is Kartik Aaryan’s home town, and he seems pretty excited about that too. This movie of a secret romance between the cute couple will also star Aparshakti Khurrana in a major role. Whether there is a twist in the game of marriage or risks in the game of hide and seek is a matter of wait as Luka Chuppi will be brought to us on the big screen on 1st March.
