The Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba is one of the most awaited films of the year and also the last Bollywood release this year. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba was supposed to be Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan debut film but the film was postponed and will now be Sara’s second release this year after Kedarnath.
Ranveer Singh was one of the first ones to be signed for the film. Abhishek Bachchan was also offered an important role in the film but later R Madhavan was set to play the same role, however, Madhavan who is a huge Rohit Shetty fan, was heartbroken when he had to walk out of the film due to an injury. Sonu Sood was finally signed for the same.
The trailer of the film is finally out and it looks like the year will end with a bang! The film looks like a hit and Ranveer who plays a cop in the film is an absolute show stealer from whatever we saw in the almost 2minute 54 seconds trailer of the film. Ranveer is seen performing some kick-ass action scenes. The trailer of the film tells us that the Simmba is an out and out masala entertainer with some ‘zabardast’ dialogues!
Even though not much of Sara’s scenes are shown in the trailer, looks like Sara will add charm to Ranveer’s Bhalerao. While most of the big (or should we say obnoxiously humongous) budget films that released this year have been a huge disappointment, the trailer of Simmba looks promising and it seems like the film will be an absolute joyride. Looks like the year is going to end on an out and out entertaining action-packed note. So get set to ‘maaro’ some ‘seetis’!
