Ahead of the much awaited release of Simmba, the makers of the film have released a new song from it, titled Aala Re Aala. This one has Ranveer Singh showcasing his dance moves, and it also has grand visuals with hundreds of dancers shaking a leg with him. It’s your typical item number with a catchy hook that’s sure to become a hit in the coming weeks.

The lyrics of Aala Re Aala have been written with the aim of describing Ranveer Singh’s character in Simmba. The lines, “Machinga machinga. Dhol abhi bajinga. Dhina dhin dhaap dekho aaj raja nachinga” sum up the flamboyance of this extraordinary policeman. The chorus of this song, which goes, “Lene aaya lene aaya. Simmba teri firki. Rak tiki rak tiki tiki tiki. Lene aaya lene aaya. Simmba teri firki. Rak tiki rak tiki tiki tiki,” will remind you of another Ranveer Singh song, Tattad Tattad.

This composition by Tanishk Bagchi seems like a polished one, and looks destined to become a hit. The singers Dev Negi and Goldi have both done a fantastic job with their vocals. The music video has a grand vision, but it’s something that required a little more refinement. The VFX is clearly visible at many points, and the choreography is trying too hard to be catchy.

Two more songs from the soundtrack of Simmba have been released as well. First among them was Aankh Marey, which is a remake of the of a song featured in the 1996 film Tere Mere Sapne. The second song is a romantic track called Tere Bin sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Asees Kaur and Tanishk Bagchi.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, Simmba also stars Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, while Ajay Devgn will also be seen in a cameo appearance. A remake of the Telugu film Temper, this movie follows the story of a corrupt police officer who is forced to change his ways after a serious incident befalls him.

Simmba is slated to be released on December 28 in theatres across India.
