One more song from the film Luka Chuppi has been released by T-Series, and this one is called Duniyaa. Composed by Abhijit Vaghani, it has been sung by Akhil and Dhvani Bhanushali. It has also been blessed with a music video that showcases the romance between the film’s lead pair, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon.
The problem with Duniyaa, however, is its generic nature. Its overall sound is pretty much identical to many other songs of such nature. Even the singing styles of Akhil and Dhvani Bhanushali are very general. The lyrics of Dunyaa talk about devotion, and they have been very well written by Kunaal Vermaa. The hook of this song goes, “Bulave tujhe yaar aaj meri galiyan. Basaun tere sang main alag duniya. Bulave tujhe yaar aaj meri galiyan.”
The first song to have been released from the soundtrack of Luka Chuppi was Poster Lagwa Do. A Mika Singh number, it’s a complete party track that is of course a remix of a song of the same name from the 1997 Akshay Kumar and Urmila Matondkar starrer, Aflatoon. This song was followed by Coca Cola, which is another remake in this album. The third song was an emotional track titled Photo, while the fourth one was Tu Laung Main Elaachi.
Luka Chuppi is a film produced by Dinesh Vijan, and directed by Laxman Utekar. Its story has the lead pair deciding to enter a live-in relationship prior to getting married. But when their parents get involved, things take a completely different turn. Apart from Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, the film also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, Atul Srivastava and Vinay Pathak.
Luka Chuppi is slated to be released on March 1 in cinemas across India.
