Bollywood is back in the mood for recreating popular chartbusters from the 1990s, and dancer Nora Fatehi will be seen dancing on the recreated version of “Dilbar” for Milap Zaveri’s movie “Satyameva Jayate”. To be released on 15th August 2018, the movie is an action thriller. No official music video of the song has been released yet.

The song was originally performed by Sushmita Sen and Sanjay Kapoor for the Sanjay Kapoor-Priya Gill starrer ‘Sirf Tum’ way back in 1999. The audience are left wondering if the same sensuousness, grace and magic can be recaptured by Fatehi and John Abraham. The music has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi, who has also recreated many other songs from the past decades in today’s Bollywood movies.

Fatehi will be donning the avatar of an Arabian dancer in the song, which will be perfectly complemented by her belly dancing skills. John Abraham will be seen dressed in a black suit, inspired by Sanjay Kapoor’s look in the original song. The recreated version has been choreographed by Adil Sheikh, incorporating the beauty of belly dancing in the song. Considering the fact that the entire song was shot over a weekend, the entire cast and crew are rooting for a positive response after the song’s release.

Fatehi went through a tough rehearsal session for ten days, yet was nervous about recreating such an iconic song. We hope she does justice to Sushmita Sen’s song. Nora is grateful to the director and the entire crew for trusting her with the song. The lead actor, John Abraham also feels that “Dilbar” will add the extra punch to the movie. Tweeting a photo of the entire team of Satyameva Jayate, director Milap Zaveri announced about the song and about the wrap of the shoot.

Apart from John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee will also play an important role in the movie. This movie will see Aisha Sharma as a debut actress and she is cast opposite John Abraham. We hope that the recreated version of the famous 90s song will be as well-liked by the audience as the original one and we can’t wait for it to release.
