So far, only two songs from Tiger Zinda Hai have been released, but they have managed to take the anticipation surrounding the film to an all-time high. While Swag Se Swagat is already topping charts, Dil Diyan Gallan is also being loved by many.
There are a lot of expectations from the remaining songs which will be released soon. The duo of Vishal-Shekhar has composed the music for this film. Given their knack for producing memorable albums, Tiger Zinda Hai seems promising, more than anything else.
Swag Se Swagat is sung by Vishal Dadlani himself along with Neha Bhasin. It’s a straight-up dance number which has Salman Khan showcasing his trademark moves. Katrina Kaif isn’t too far away from her comfort zone as well, even as she seems to be in her element while shaking a leg to the song.
The song has a huge electronic and hip-hop influence, whereas its catchy chorus manages to make you want to sing it after just the first time you hear it. Swag Se Swagat sure is one song that will be the life of parties in the months to come.
As for Dil Diyan Gallan, it’s a love song picturised on the lead pair. Its Punjabi lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil, while the song itself is sung by Atif Aslam. The entire song takes its rhythm from tabla beats, and combined with the trusty harmonium, it creates a nostalgic mood.
Atif’s vocals are the main appeal of this song however. They slide over the music effortlessly, and enhance its charm. Dil Diyan Gallan is a brilliant addition to the album, no doubt.
The remaining songs are still to be released, but judging by the fact that this film is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger, we can make some predictions.
If Swag Se Swagat is the Mashallah of this film, and Dil Diyan Gallan is its Laapata, then a song that mirrors Banjaara is most probably also on the cards. The Tiger theme from the last film is likely to be changed as well.
There’s no word on when the full album will be out, but we’re guessing it should be released within a few days since the film itself is slated for a December 22 arrival. We’ll have more on the album as soon as it’s out.
