How Not To Get Slapped On Slap Day

And if your relationship sees the slap, it’s time to show the door

If you didn’t know it’s slap day today, good for you.

I mean, who dedicates a day specially for a slap? If you’re also wondering the same, especially after the entire run up to Valentine’s Day and all the love and mush that was floating around, it’s time to get real.

Just as you have people in love, you have people who are in the wrong kind of love, and basically, that’s how Slap Day came about, as an anti-Valentine’s Day tradition to remind people that it’s not always about being in love.

So now that you know what this is about (just hope your partner isn’t reading this already and getting ideas), how do you save yourself the slap?

Use protection

Wear some protective gear when you’re around them, especially if you know you’ve done something that could irk them and get their inner aatma out.

Show off those moves

Whenever you’re around your partner, try showing off some ‘moves’

Of course you don’t have to know any karate or martial arts or whatsoever, but you could always pretend, and make them think it’s not wise to mess with you, right?

Be smart with gifts

Angelina Jolie gifted an entire island to her now ex Brad Pitt an entire waterfall for his 48th birthday and an island for his 50th birthday!

Katie Perry bought a space travel ticket for Russell Brand on the Virgin Galactic Spaceship. Unfortunately, the pair went their separate orbits before the spaceship made the trip

If you can’t get that lucky, get gifts that your partner will love, and not the ones that you love.

A slap in a relationship can be interesting as long as it’s in the league of Mister Grey. If you both enjoy it it’s fine and you can use it to create that heat and keep things on. But when it’s aggressive and can hurt or humiliate or intimidate one of the partners, that’s when it’s time to end it right there.

And remember, you don’t really need to slap it out. If you’re in a relationship that makes you unhappy, walk out on Slap Day and make the best of it.
