The 2012 movie Student Of The Year, by Karan Johar was a huge hit and an is still an instant favorite among the young college-going crowd. We are all aware that Karan is now prepared with its sequel, and Student Of The Year 2 is all set to release on 23rd November, 2018. This time, the movie is directed by Punit Malhotra of the I Hate Love Stories fame and its being produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The shooting for the movie has already started and we are slowly being introduced to its all new batch students. It’s been quite a while since we knew that we shall see Tiger Shroff in a lead role, but recently we have been made aware of two more new faces, who will be starring as students in the movie. Among them, a fresh, new and appealing face is that of Tara Sutaria and here’s what you need to know about her.

Karan Johar has happily introduced Tara to us through his Twitter handle. Tara is a Mumbai girl, who has had extensive training is dance. She is a trained classical ballet dancer and also underwent training on modern and Latin American dance forms from prestigious dance schools in the UK. Apart from that she has also been doing stage shows and has sung in operas as a professional singer since a tender age of 7. Her career started off as a VJ with the Disney Channel and she has been a part of sitcoms like Best of Luck Nikki (2011) and The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir (2012). She has also lent her voice for songs from famous films like Guzaarish (2010) and Taare Zameen Par (2007).

Tara is elated to be a part of SOTY 2 and says it’s her first, so it’s obviously special. Its indeed a reason to be happy for Tara, as she is being launched by the renowned Dharma Production house, that is also known for creating mega stars. All of us are aware, how Student Of the Year (2012) marked the beginning of the journey of the then debutants Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra. All three of them have established a firm hold on the Bollywood industry right now.

The other new student face will be that of Ananya Pandey, the daughter of actor, Chunkey Pandey. While Tiger Shroff, who started shooting for the movie a day ago, is already a star with his Baaghi series, we need to watch how these two newcomer female leads in the movie perform and how their fortune shines on the B-town thereafter.
