“All good things come in small packages,” is something my dad always quoted, just to make me feel happy. At 4 feet 11 inches tall ( or not so tall), I was always conscious and worried about whether any boy would actually fall for me. But, what I was never prepared for was; a ‘hatta katta’ 6 footer, falling head over heels in love with me and vice versa and almost like the Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan story. So, as always, my dad was right, because I realized that a lot of men do actually love dating shorter women. Which made me wonder why? Well, I did figure that out, take a look:
1. No heels high enough
Guys feel secure with the fact, that she will never ever look taller than them, no matter how high her heels are. Guys are always worried about their girlfriends looking taller than them, when they don those 8 inch high heels. But, with a 4 foot nothing girlfriend, that’s not a worry.
2. The Incredible Hulk feel
Guys love the feeling of being all powerful and protecting. When he hugs his short girlfriend, she gets completely hidden in that embrace and that makes the man feel all protective and powerful.
3. Can’t do without me feeling
Men like to feel needed all the time, and with a short partner around, they will always be needed around the house, especially to pull down things from cabinets high above and out of their reach.
While these are some of the main reasons, the best reason is that short girls are adorable period!
